Supporting Healthy Relationships
The Wild Commons Network is a place of new and unpredictable relationships. Being sensitive to these relationships and managing them responsibly is key to the design of the landscape.
The design details are designed to respond to both the local materiality and spatial qualities of the site to minimise any possible negative impacts on the landscape from the process of construction.
Observatory Construction Details
This area of the project takes the materials explored in the materiality section and synthesises them in the construction of the observatories.
Whilst the form of each observatory is unified and may vary slightly depending on each patch’s topography and condition, the function of each observatory will reflect the unique character of each individual patch.

The following drawings show how relationships between humans and non humans can be managed through sensitive design to provide both opportunities for positive interaction and space.
